What did Netanyahu expect after the Biden visit incident, when it appeared more of the same was his "house gift" for Obama--as he lands, the announcement is made that more development will be done in arab East Jerusalem, and then the Mayor of Jerusalem says no part of Jerusalem will ever be given up. Sure looks like Netanyahu was landing saying "well, too bad about Biden, but let's be frank--we aren't even going to do step 1 of the Roadmap agreement." Add in killing a few protestors--just to revive the good feelings of the Gaza invasion? Being Israel means never having to own up to anything. Yup, Ol' Netanyahu landed giving a one fingered peace sign and the President felt he was being asked to be the straight man--at a time when he was trying to deal with the health insurance issue. Speaking of which, many of us in the US figure the money we spend on Israel may just help pay for some medical care for US citizens. So you'll understand if that dries up. Keep your PM at home.
