Personally, I think Israel should have taken the deal. But that's not the relevant point right now--I just don't get what you're talking about! The US came up with this offer (a very--maybe even overly--generous offer) but Israel did not take it, because of the obstruction of the far-right-wing parties currently (and often) holding the government and the country hostage. So what do you mean that Israel tried to get more money? The US offered, and Israel refused. I'm just totally confused by you.
