Israel - Syria peace overtures, their messages regarding talks, their "dance around war" are not a bilateral thing only. The world is enduring a tsunami of Islamic terrorist fundamentalism, from Al-Qaida to Iran, based everywhere and all sects and groupings want bto destroy Israel. Syria is aiding them all. So before one bashes Israel for not being "corteous" enough in answering poor anxious Bashar, one should consider that Syria is Iran's bed-fellow. Iran is calling for Israel's destruction on a monthly if not weekly basis. It is re-arming Hezballah, and training Hamas, Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and I wouldn't be surprised if -despite sectarian violence between shia and sunni, it cooperates with Al-Qaida in specific actions against Israel. So please stop talking as if we were in 1950, 1960 or 1970. We are in the high period of Islamic fascism on a global scale. Israel can't be naive even if there's a risk of letting a genuine peace opportunity go unanswered
