Jimmy Carter grew up in similar conditions to me. He had the benefit of a Christian upbringing, good schools, good role models and a free country. Then he went into politics. He was a failure as the govenor of Georgia, then he became president, it only got worse. After he failed as president, and in the process greatly harmed this nation, he headed to the private sector. When he got there, all he could think of was how Israel tried to defend themselves and would not let him sell their very existence during the Camp David Accords, then he got angry and blamed all of this failings on Israel. For the last 15 years, he's has railed against Israel at every opportunity, he's even put it in print in his horribly skewed book. He has actively worked against Israel, many times. Now, for what ever reason, the failed governor, president and preacher is making the smallest concession possible by offering Al Het. By his actions we know him and that's enough for us.
