Israel the most powerful country in the Middle East, with more illegal weaponry than anyone else is going to allow a demilitarised statelet to exist for Palestinians. This is Vichy France revived. General Allen's plan is for a force to control Palestinians. Who is there to defend well armed illegal settlers who apparently will be allowed to live in strategic spaces throughout this debased Palestine. This is no two state plan by any criteria. . It is Israel that has never been the honest broker in this farce. If this is what Mr Abbas is fighting to gain for Palestinians then shame on him. Mr Abbas should walk away from this and push for a One state solution.
