Redmike hinted at the fact that roadblocks are increased during major Jewish holidays, for the simple reason that the Palestinians increase their efforts at terrorism at such times. But did anyone mention that increased roadblocks and checkpoints are in order during the month of Ramadan, when thousands and thousands of West Bank Palestinians are admitted into Israel to prayer at al-Aksa Mosque? The alternative might be not to allow all those people to pray at the site they choose.
