It is true that North American Judaism has often become an empty shell, I propose a vigorous culturalist approach to help.As for the militia, well in theory it is terribel on the other hand the US has become such a disfunctional alienated almost nihilistic society, that people now need to patrol the streets with arms.If I lived their I would join. However it is interesting to note that the Rabbi coming from the jewish view has grasped something that the US society at large ignores or flees from. His urban revitalisation program is as important in fighting crime as the militia is. The approach is correct. To bad North American jews have become so fee fee about everything. And he is right, alot of Jews have replaced Judaism or jewish culture with Liberalism of a very vapid sort. While it is a Jewish value to do social justice, they should integrate more cultural jewish practice, to round the thing out.
