    In the a world that is leaving the remnants of the dark ages behind there is only room for rational and respectful secularism. The only disrespect that exists in this regard is from Orthodox Jews. Religion has a role only in the privae lives of its adherents. As soon as pavement changes from private to public, there is no room for religion or more accurately the religious to impose prescriptions or proscriptions. I don't think she denied the rights of Zionism. She understood that Israel was and is a sanctuary from the violent delusion and irrational hatred of the world and that Israel gives the Jewish people a fighting chance to survive. That she worked for reconcilation and respect with Arab peoples, gays and others, is very admirable. Why do you care, incidentally, where people put their hands and their privates. Oh... I forgot you are religious.
