The continual approach of discrediting your opposing leadership whomever it's been, now it's PA President Abbas and tomorrow it's PM Salam Fayyad, etc. and identifying the excuse for the impasse in peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, is a pattern we're familiar with over time. It's never a suitable candidate or relationship for marriage. It must be a marriage of convenience. Well, it won't be convenient when the region's demographic implications will dictate a very different scenario to the proposed two independent sovereign states living side-by-side.
