whether the Israeli leadership, Barak, Netanyahu, appreciate his perspectives on the country's direction, is another issue. Many of us are disenchanted with the lack of progress in Israel's foreign policy and both DM Barak and PM Netanyahu, we hoped, had the background to succeed within this realm. One really wonders though, where does Marcus come up with the accusation that Barak is "focused on himself, flaunting his wealth and the good life?" We don't really witness this and what does it have to do with governing the country or delivering peace? Besides, only insecure people tend to boast about their "accomplishments" - with or without brains! Neither Barak or Netanyhu are a party to that.
