That after all is what Israel would term any Iranian-backed bombing of an IDF target in Israel. Having said that, accidents with muntions are not uncommon and if you really wanted to slow down nuke development, then killing a general probably isn't going to be massively effective. Generals have assistants, they have files etc. that a replacement can use to take up where the late general left off.
