    They want their weapons all they need to do is bring them in with no questions asked through Rafah. Egypt is now trying to get closer to Iran, the relationship with Israel is gradually being eroded more and more both at a political and business level. The Muslim Brotherhood are expected to do very well in the elections and even non islamist presidential candidates are calling for the treaty with Israel to be renegotiated because they think its outdated places to many restrictions on Egypt like the idea of Sinai being demilitarized etc. Now they are breaking all the rules agreed on when Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005 and now Hamas are pretty much going to have a free hand and go unchecked at Rafah. The region was a whole lot more stable before this arab spring started.
