For years the "ideological" settlers lived in a bubble, shielded from Israeli public opnion indeed some what isolated from Israel in general. Well Israel came knocking in Gaza and suddenly the settlers found themselves face to face with the will of the people and state that has been supporting them all this time. I understand it was a shock but it was about time they were brought down to earth like the rest of their fellow citizens. Finished the elitism of the "saints" finished the untouchability of the of the "spiritualy advanced". Like all others they must live by the same rules and be subject to the same cost benefits analysis that the society and govt does for very other issue, the splendid isolation is over the seperatism is passed. Welcome back to society like it or not. Now let them defend themsleves as a national priority like every other intrest group is srtuggling over Govt attention. looks good to me. Danite
