I know its hard to explain the documentary and the history and contemporary lives of Iranian Jews in 1 minute and 40 secs but there are a lot of questionable or at least ambigiuous things in this report. First of all Dovy and Mark are right. And who said they cant leave? the report said that they "are not normally allowed to emmigrate"-- What the hell does that mean, "normally"? Also what prevents them from leaving? Are you telling me that Iranian Jews arent allowed passports? That if an Iranian Jewish family were to want to go on holiday, theyd be jailed? Find me evidence, law, anything. And who says they want to leave? It funny how Ashkenazi Jews always assume that their Persian/Mizrahi brothers always want to leave their homelands for Israel. There are Jews who still live in Arab countries like Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and co. Theyve lived under the harshest of circumstances and some live under aliases, even though theyre allowed to leave they remain. ITS THEIR HOME!
