What is Haaretz's obsession with weasel words? There's a difference between trying to maintain professional neutrality and being completely milquetoast. "They tend to lack trustworthiness because they often lie." What insipid rubbish. Lying is the textbook definition on being untrustworthy. What you really want to say is: "Many Israeli politicians are liars." Call a spade a spade - its called being objective. Its direct, to the point, and doesn't amount to the normal mediatized frippery you "tend" to print.
