The outcome wasn't surprising. Frankly, I think the IDF handled themselves fairly well. I saw the report. It was biased. I might not have done things the same way but hey, the IDF brought their own back home fairly in one piece and I think in the future, the engagement will be the point of study for future governments engaged in heavily populated zones. Anyway, Israel could have wiped Gaza completely clean of Hamas if it had wanted to at the cost of far more civilians but they didn't. They've arrested a lot of people for sure but arresting them isn't the same as lining people up and shooting them like Hamas does. I watched a video of Mexican police charging a gunman from all directions to take him out. I may be wrong but I believe that the Mexican Police learned that strategy from the Israelis.
