What is crystal clear, there aren't leaders anywhere on the face of the globe--from Palestinians, Israeli's or in America, or anywhere else in the world--who have what it takes to solve this mess and tragedy of biblical proportion. The track towards war is well entrenched--and we can thank the "we don't have a peace partner" and new slogan of the month fabricator Israel for that--but that's because leadership has been lacking in Israel ever since Rabin was assassinated. I didn't think Rabin was all of that--just another war criminal with long record of killing Palestinians--but he did agree to talk and talk and talk--and here was a case of too much talk and no action. So we are back to square one, to no leadership, no De Gaulle like figure in Israel, no Bush senior or Carter in Washington and no Arafat-like figure in the Palestinians. We are doomed. If the best Israeli's have is another round of Netanyahoo, rest assured, we are all doomed for sure. We have extremists too you know!!

Why the Jewish establishment won’t condemn the occupation

Unless more U.S. Jews who oppose the occupation become members of established Jewish organizations and donate money, the establishment is unlikely to heed calls of those who want it to condemn the occupation.
