The television brought us all together into the same synagogue from early morning, all praying our own prayers for the release of our child, praying that lying, murdering Hamas (with whom we were dealing, after all) doesn't decide to pull the rug out from under us at the last minute, just for the sadistic fun of it. And then we were all suddenly laughing/crying together in gratitude to the good Lord when me saw him, pale and frail, but home. Israel had the best Sukkot Holiday ever, a new Joy in every heart.
