Inviting Netanyahu back to US to insult the President is a waste of time. So is an attempt by the US to get Netanyahu or this current government to the table. They are in command mode, not interested in negotiations. If and when an Israeli government wants to talk to Abbas, they have his number. If and when they mutually want US involvement, they jointly can call the White House. Meanwhile, benign neglect to be US policy. Let Harper or Sarkozy have the stage.
