Syria lost the Golan as a result of continues aggression against Israel for 20 years. I remember how Syrian army enjoyed the bombardment of settlements in the foots of the Golan heights it was a daily entertainment for Syrian army with little risk. So in 1967 they lost it and paid the price so I will suggest for Syria to forget the Golan and learn a lesson that aggression does not pay. The next war will be Asad?s huge gamble as he may loose other parts of Syria if he thinks that he can use Hezbollah tactics he must remember that Damascus is in the range of Israeli artilery. War does not solve problems these days!!
