"My own fear is that one day Israel will wake up to a situation were the Defense minister is indicted as a war criminal." - Ben Gurion I don't think most here understand that a Defense minister in the dock would have wiggle room on the issue of checkpoints, or curfews, or death by collateral damage; but NONE when there is no military/security justification for deliberate collective punishment. Not everything evil in war or occupation is a war crime. But something some sadist thinks is harmless fun and games, like punishing an entire region by repeated harassment, can easily constitute a war crime. The one thing which strikes me most about this incident is it's idiocy. It does nothing but recruit terrorists and build support for them.
