He was tried and convicted by an Iraqi court, by his Iraqi peers, according to Iraqi law. Not by a US court, not by US judges, and not by US law. It's pointless to argue about Saddams "fair trial". He may have gotten a fair trial, or maybe not. If not, who's to blame? Nobody really doubts he committed many more crimes against his fellow Iraqis than he was convicted of. If he was taunted the last few minites, I'm sure he deserved it. And I'm sure he taunted many people just before killing them. I'm sure in 20-30 years history will look back and show the US and Bush in a more favorable light than they are both experincing now.
