as an el-al security employee located at a station somewhere in europe i can assure all of you that not much will change. marking all pax with the same sticker is something that should have happened long time ago. as soon as a pax approaches the check/in you could already know by the bulk of stickers on his passport who he possibly could be. thats a question that touches moral principles. anyway, it's not the check that should (and wont!) change for our bet-memim's, it's generally the attitude of the security employees that should change. i always explain the pax our procedures and the reason and believe me, 90% of the arab pax i check (most of them are used to the checks anyway, so u don't have to treat them as if it's a big surprise...) leave the checks behind with dignity and even sometimes with a smile. and i've seen other employees at my station who do not follow the rules of decency. severe checks do not mean bad behavior. at the end of the day it's a paying customer.
