There are many Americans like myself with no ties to Palestine or it's current inhabitants with absolutely no idea why "American politicians love them better than they love their own mothers". Obviously $$ always plays a part and we understand that their are many rich zionists in America that certainly grease these wheels. But like you said, it is not clear to so many of us in the US, why so many of our politicians kow-tow over backwards on our dime for Israel. America needs to stop paying any of these people either Arab or Israeli not to kill each other. We really don't care if Israel states it's borders and treats it's neighbors fairly, then again we don't care when Israel finally bites off more than it can chew and disappears. We are not going to save Israel, why should we? We don't owe you anything and it sure appears like it's Israel causing all the trouble. State your borders and play fair or wave goodbye. No matter.

Daniel Barenboim, Israel's voodoo doll
