    I say dont be that serious. You wrote "Josephine - you really do yourself no favours by attacking the man and not his argument. That sort of personal attack/slander/personal abuse in civilised debate went out with the decline of crackpot political orators." However, I believe you are in error. Who defined or wishes this as a "civilized debate"? It is you. Instead of trying to be civil, some of us are recreating, having fun, some try to incite people, trying to elicit reactions, some trying to show theyre super gaons, some like me often pick fights. If this wernt an Haaretz board we'd probably have some aspiring messiachs and pseudo meshiachs. most of us do not aspire to be gaonim, or at least, not in public. Haaretz editors are of course censoring, but they too are obviously not trying to be civil, not to a high standard at least. My preference is usually action. Heck, I try write with clarity and civility the whole work week, what a pain in the neck.
