Van - We are talking about Turkish citizens, etnically Kurdish - not to ge mixed up with the fringe organization PKK, which is a terrorist organization and has killed up to 45000 Turkish citizens, of many etnic backgrounds, including Kurdish! Therefore it is only normal that the Turkish Prime-Minister is acting to protect and help Turkish Citizens, whatever their etnical background, hit by this powerful earthquake. And when Turkey does not have enough resources it is sensible to accept help from abroad (even from Israel) - and this is what Erdogan is doing to fullfill and honour his duty of office. The Media should not be misleading public opinion, either willingly or because or ignorance! And ofcourse the Turkish army will continue defending its Citizens, whatever their etnic background may be.
