While I'd love to believe the article, because it shows a trend towards non-facist Muslim entities...I still hold a bit of reservation on it. Jamblatt has been the target of pro-Syrian activists and Syrian intelligence orgs for years now, and considering the fate of other anti-Syrian lawmakers, this guy is marked. Rather than target him physically, why not denounce him through the media as a "Zionist collabrator" to kill support for him. Honestly, I have no way to believe this story is true or false, but it is reported by a Syrian news agency called "Sham" which in English means "trick, untruthful"
