There is NO Palestine; there never was a Palestinian state. There is Transjordania and Israel. When the King of Jordan ignored the Israeli overtures in 1967 and threw in with his aggressive Arab neighbors, it was a poor decision---unless you accept that losing the West Bank and Gaza relieved the Hashamites of their social responsible to their fellow Arabs for the Egyptians, Jordanians, and Saudis who resided in those territories. Now, there are three (3) groups contesting leadership in those lands: on the Arab side, there are the Fattah terrorists and the Hamas terrorists; on the Israeli side is a democratically-elected national government. Because of demography and ideology, Israelis will not grant full citizenship to its Arab guests residing within its lands and territories. The Arabs are busy making irredential claims and wish to expel the Israelis from "occupied" Arab land. Doesn't appear to be fertile ground for utopian delusions of peace and joy envisioned by the empty-headed Israeli peaceniks.
