I sympathize with the Shalit situation, but where is similar sympathy for Rachel Corrie or the family of the Turkish-American slain on the Mavi Marmara? How is it more moral to turn a blind eye, or spinelessly reject settlement activity, yet automatically go to bat in UNSC against a Palestinian statehood attempt? US apprrently really fears Palestinians facing off as near-equals against the state of Israel, in international court. Wonder why...
