Ravid sounds premature in writing that the US made clear it would veto. The last I read from the State Department was clear as mud. At that point, the US was refusing to be clear about a veto. Now, if the US does not veto, Ravid can claim a betrayal. But unless there is a direct verifiable quote available from State or the White House, I take this with more than a single grain of salt. More like a ton or two.
