All, As far as the issue of US aid is concerned, Israel rejected US economic aid during the previous Netanyahu administration. However, there is military aid from the US in the form of loan forgiveness for specific items that are made solely in the US. There is some additional military cooperation such as anti-missile systems. I believe that Israel should end this by transforming past loans to grants and going to a cash purchase basis for future arms purposes. This will reduce US leverage over Israel and allow Israel to sell its own weapon systems without being subject to US veto. As far as 'equity' is concerned, US aid to Egypt, Jordan, the Pals and Lebanon have exceeded aid to Israel for the past 5 years. Aid to those countries are not loans and much of it is economic, military and 'security' aid. This is a reversal of Camp David which equalized aid to Israel vs. the Arab allies.
