My parents were both born in Poland..my mom from Warsaw only her parents brought her to NY instead of Tel Aviv in the 1920s, as this man went to the Holy Land instead of America in the 1920's when it wasnt even built up then..I dont think that shows snobbery in a family..it shows a pioneer jewish spirit. Menachim Begin was also polish and seemed like a very good leader for Israel to me. He's right that we as a people should stick more together instead of dividing internally to be stronger..United We Stand and Divided We Fall still applies in todays world as it did in yesterdays.
