I remember my dad telling me about a confrontation between Israel and their neighbors. It was either the 6 day war or the Yom Kippur War. Any way what I was told was fascinating. It seems Israel was really out manned and out gunned and yet advancing columns of tanks and armor coming from the south had stopped. The occupants fled their vehicles and the Israeli's took control of the equipment and drove into Israel. What I have been told was that the invading soldiers saw quite literally a wall or PILLAR of fire and fled in terror. This has been discussed by other military personnel , but is not talked about openly. Anyway, does any one have any info about this ?
