and it's not conclusive from all the knowledge exposed of " hardline" MK Lieberman, that he would not in the end support a peace agreement with the Palestinians. The mere fact that he's been characterized as a sociopolitical contrarian is indicative of a good proportion of Israelis (but not authentically the majority because, just for example, over 70% of Israelis support the Geneva Accord Peace Initiative), and this is the challenge for any peace proposal in the future. It's not only the member(s) of the cabinet, but a significant sector which does not fully comprehend the necessity for a long-awaited peace settlement in the Middle East region. Israel has made serious mistakes in the past, but so have the Palestinians in rejecting the Jewish State. To pass up the opportunity of making peace a reality is inconceivable.
