It's true. The U.S. is not an honest broker. But it sure as hell is more even handed than the whole of the Arab League combined. The United States has been opposed to the settlements for a long time. And have issued many calls against them and against checkpoints. There's also a General by the name Keith Dayton on loan to the Palestinians to assist their forces. In addition millions in funding for the same forces. What have the Arab League (Outside of Jordan and Egypt stopping smuggling) done for Israel? Anyone?!?! In addition, I'd like to add how often in the past year I've heard that if the United States were committed to peace in the Middle East, there would be peace. But now, with Annapolis only days away, the same people who made this claim are now just disregarding the whole thing as a farce. I guess some people really just don't like the thought of there being actual peace. Just want to pretend to do so.
