He takes the usual Israeli line viewing the occupation as morally neutral. Something that continues and occasionally negotiations are had about ending it, but if no agreement can be reached, well it's no big deal. But he's wrong. The occupation is morally evil. I don't blame Israel for the way it started in 1967. I wouldn't have blamed Israel for keeping it going for a few years whil ending it was sorted out. I wouldn't even blame Israel so much if Palestinians had an Israeli vote and Israeli passports and were free to travel. But to keep an entire people prisoner for over 40 years as hostage until Israel gets the peace deal IT wants, is evil. There's no other word for it. And every day the occupation continues is more evil. And a nation that does evil every day is always going to be in the wrong.
