It is not a million people it is 500,000 people that Israel settled illegally with full knowledge. Theodor Meron,Israels legal advisor at the time informed the Israeli Government that settlements contravened the explicit protocols of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Israel also, according to its legal Borders, has no Sovereignty over East Jerusalem or Palestinian Territory. The Israeli Govt admitted to the UN that East Jerusalem was Occupied territory. The World recognises it as Occupied territory. Israel created the problem so Israel needs to fix the problem. It is not up to the Palestinians to suffer for Israels chosen illegal actions. And if you wanrt to talk history it was European jewish convert migrants that set the whole ball rolling arriving in the ME with the sole intent of imposing their religious fantasy on the indigenous people of Palestine and intended to expel ALL Arabs from Palestine by all or any means. The problems in 1947-48 were the direct cause of Jewish actions intent on taking all of Palestine after the British Army withdrew. The jews began expelling Arabs from that point causing surrounding Arab states to come to the Palestinians aid. Israel in its Sovereignty agreement accepted and agreed to borders defined by Resolution 181. It accepted Jerusalem was to be under International governance. Israel has made its bed and one way or the other the Palestinians will get their territory back even if it means sending in an International force to ensure it happens. That force is actually being built at the moment.
