To the oh so arrogant frenchman, go pound sand. The US is paying $12 Billion a month for the Iraq mess and all that is being paid by American tax dollars and the blood of our soldiers. Not one dollar has been reimbursed by one drop of Iraqi oil and not one life spared for good intentions. Oil was never the reason for the war. That's a load of crap. Our relationship with the gulf states is another matter and we pay dearly for that oil in ways too numerous to list here in addition to paying for it. Sadly our enconomy is dependent on fossil fuels and until we change that fact we are forced to hold our noses and deal with the Saudis and even with people like the French who are totally motivated by their delusion of having a say in the world today. So go have a glass of wine and leave world affairs to the big boys.France has proven that it only cares about having its baguette buttered and doesn't have a moral leg to stand on in matters of war and peace.
