You just think of it as a nation and perceive Jews as compatriots. You have Jewishness in your heart. You are not worshipper of judaism, but are friend of this religion and recognize it as a deep heritage of your Nation. In addition, being christian, you see judaism as the deep root. Unfortunately it's a pity that currently many Jews cannot perceive that there can be other criteria of national identification than Halakha...
