A man stepped out into the garden, startling a greasing family who rapidly ran up the hill. As he followed, he heard the scratching sound of a hedgehog trying to avoid him. Pleased with his closeness to nature he continued his stroll and eventually passed two fat and lazy adders sunbathing on the road. Close to nature as he was, he poked one of them gently with his finger. Amazingly, the lazy snake sprang into action, but he managed to kill it and the other snake with some stones and a stick. Pleased with his manhood, he displayed the snakes on a branch sticking up of an anthill, and continued his stroll. He passed a huge elk (moose), who looked at him as he was looking at it. The non-aggressive animal interested him, so he went closer and said hi to it. Immediately it attacked him, and he had to run for cover. After this horrific experience, he found it best to cool himself down by the sea. Sitting there at a small pier, he thought he heard something sounding as a mixture between a beep and a muffled bark. Turning round he saw a slim little creature imitating a barking dog. He grabbed some handfuls of pebble and throw them at it, as he wondered why nature did not understand him as well as he understood it.
