So far all Palestinian dealing process shows they want to get territories without any treaty. They stated already that, whatever happens, they will not recognize a state of Israel who is declaring it is "Jewish and Democratic" - thus justifying future terror. They have abstained from talking during 10 month freeze. If Netanyahu gives territories now, and freezing means giving, Palestinians will take the land, blow the talks a and continue terror just like in Gaza. No sane Israeli leader would accept that. We may give land but we want peace without qualifications, and without legal loopholes enabling Palestinians to restart terror like in Gaza. From the dealing point of view, what possibly can we give Gaza more to make them stop the terror and release Shalit? - We have nothing left to give, no more land to give in Gaza. The blockade was a consequence of Shalit abduction and Sderot bombing, thus even ending this blockade will have no influence: they kidnapped Shalit and bombed Sderot without blockade. We don't want the West Bank to turn into Gaza. Every Israeli understands that.
