Yeah, I agree that its really hard to see how a tiny speck of Jewish land surrounded by 300 million Arabs could be seen an an underdog. Since there are so few underdogs in this world, and, despite the history of the last 1000 years, Jews definitely aren't among them, I totally get why a Jewish guy who cares so much about underdogs would choose the Palestinians as moral mascots.
