I am a pretty well educated American (I'm a physician), and yet I have absolutely no idea what the proposed bill under discussion states. This article is incredibly unclear. The opening line is: "A ministerial legislation panel rejected a bill geared at applying Israeli law on settlements in the West Bank on Sunday". What does this mean??? In any event, I felt compelled to write this comment after reading a number of Haaretz articles over the past year that are very obscurely written. I read this entire article and still have no idea what the rejected bill states...
