The UN observed mass murder in Yugoslavia and it observed Hezbollah stockpiling a 1000 rockets while enjoying a coffee. When there is really something to observe they pull out. The UN is a totally corrupt organisation of people who give their friends well-paid jobs. Probably, there are people in the UN who really want to make the world a better place, but they never make it to any top. If the UN did work, it would be patrolling Gaza to take out launching platforms, east-Jerusalem, and particularly they would be forcefully disarming certain parts of Africa such as DRC. I agree that with the 0 they achieve now, they are only a costly burden. Of course a country like Croatia then, or Israel now will want to take matters into their own hands seeing the white jeeps fleeing at the first sound of an explosion.

Why the Jewish establishment won’t condemn the occupation

Unless more U.S. Jews who oppose the occupation become members of established Jewish organizations and donate money, the establishment is unlikely to heed calls of those who want it to condemn the occupation.
