While I have not read the article published in Barnes Review it is true that some European Zionists entered into questionable dialogue with the Nazi party early on. These incidents are extremely well documented in Leni Brenner's book "51 Documents: Zionist Collaboration with the Nazis." This topic was also used as the basis for soicialist playwright Jim Allen's "Perdition". The 1955 Rudolf Kasztner trial in Israel also dealt with this issue. Unfortunately certain American groups believe censorship of dialogue is a positive thing when it comes to acedemia.
