    - hamas will not "dissolve" over time /go away. that's just a fairy-tale. whatever the situation, whichever way it develops, even if their support shoud diminish, they will keep standing firm & always want to undermine a moderate solution. this has been true w/reg. to hamas from the beginning, & they have been "small" before. the likelihood is the threat from gaza will only increase over time, so you'll have two fronts (together w/lebanon) to worry about & the danger only growing. which means the price of doing something about it will only go up. i know it's easy to be a "warmonger" & be sitting in prague & i agree that war is always bad, but what are you gonna do? i'm actually a moderate, but this new doctrine of exclusively non-military solutions is not rooted in reality, nor history, albeit a nice thought. rgs,-
