I would like to submit yet another (but not from me) solution to the endless two-state problem. The Palestinians give the Gaza Strip to Israel. Israel gives the West Bank and the settlements, which it leaves intact, to the Palestinians for an undivided country. The government of Palestine determines how to compensate the former citizens of Gaza, possibly by giving them title to homes in the settlements. The Israeli government determines how to compensate the former dwellers in the settlements, possibly by giving them title to property in Gaza. Jerusalem will be temporarily left out of the arrangement so that it not prevent the larger solution. Each side gains enormously.
