The two state solution already existed and is successful. We have two states living side by side on respective banks of the Jordan which were both part of the British Palestine Mandate. An Islamic nation called Jordan on the East Bank and a Jewish Nation called Israel on the West Bank, but this is not enough to appease the enemies of Israel. They instead insist of four states, but really three eventually once Israel is eliminated. There is presently Jordan invented by the British and handed to the foreign Hashemites in 1948, there is modern day Israel which as a nation on their land has existed for thousands of years, there is "Palestine" invented in 1964 and established in 1993, and also Hamastan in Gaza invented in 2005. There we have four states, but we speak of two? Once the enemies of Israel pursue peace and forgo the PLO phased plan, there will be peace, but this will require compromise by Israel's enemies and the desire to pursue peace. Israel has already commited itself over and over to the two state solution and to peace, but is not aiding it's own destruction and four states. Israel pursues a final peace settlement and it's enemies pursue a new final solution for the Jewish question.
