It is interesting to read everyone's take on this.I think there is a very important distintion between the two cities. First off,Tel Aviv does not have terrorist organization helping to run large portions of it. That's not to say it is perfect but this is a fundemental difference between the two cities. With all that said I guarantee you that Beirut would once again regain its nickname of 'The Paris of the Middle East" if the legally recognized gov't would be allowed to do its job and hezbullah was shuffled out of Beirut and the rest of the Middle East.
