Israel has land borders, determined over sixty years ago by consent of ALL nations in the region. When Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria signed Armistice agreements with Israel ALL of them accepted - de facto - the legitimacy and borders of Israel. There is NO government in the world today which DOES NOT ACCEPT those borders aside from Israel itself. Israel's government holds that it's border to the east is the Jordan River and that those persons living there have no right to their lands. This is another question from whether Israel has a right to exist within the borders it's enemies - the surrounding nations which sought to expunge it - agreed.
